Soccer Game Preview: Newcastle vs. Duncan

The Newcastle Racers will head out to square off against the Duncan Demons at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Newcastle will be strutting in after a win while Duncan will be coming in after a loss.

Newcastle's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Ada. Newcastle haven't had any issues with Ada recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Newcastle hit Ada with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Conner Espinosa, Bryan Medrano, and Coltyn Biggerstaff.

Meanwhile, after soaring to four goals the game before, Duncan was a bit more limited in their game last Tuesday. They came up short against Chickasha, falling 3-0. The loss put an end to Duncan's undefeated start to the season.

Duncan's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1-1. As for Newcastle, their win bumped their record up to 6-4.

Newcastle skirted past Duncan 2-1 when the teams last played back in March of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Newcastle since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
