Volleyball Recap: Del Campo Comes Up Short

Del Campo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the River Valley Falcons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-21, 25-12.

Del Campo's defeat dropped their record down to 3-18. As for River Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-7 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Del Campo will head out to take on Twelve Bridges at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Raging Rhinos will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Cougars surely won't give up without a fight. As for River Valley, they will venture away from home to square off against Placer at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
