Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Napoleon). They walked away with a 23-15 win over the Clay Eagles on Friday. For the Wildcats, this counts as revenge for the 35-14 victory the Eagles walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.
Napoleon can attribute much of their success to Hayden Groll, who rushed for 135 yards.
Napoleon's run defense was locked in: Clay could only muster 3.3 yards per carry. The Wildcats didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 6.3.
