Basketball Recap: Coronado's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Coronado came into Tuesday's match having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They strolled past the Canyon Hills Rattlers with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 52-35. The Islanders have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Rattlers , too.

Coronado's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 9-11. As for Canyon Hills, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season.

Coronado will head out to face off against La Jolla at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Coronado is facing La Jolla at the right time seeing as La Jolla is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Canyon Hills, they will host Mira Mesa at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
