Basketball Recap: East Rowan Takes a Loss

East Rowan lost against Lake Norman Charter back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The East Rowan Mustangs had to suffer through a 70-42 loss at the hands of the Lake Norman Charter Knights.

Lake Norman Charter had a senior duo take command as Major Leak posted 19 points and Braden Wilkie had 15 points. Lake Norman Charter is undefeated when Leak posts 15 or more points, but 4-12 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaiah Smith iii, who put up nine points.

East Rowan's defeat dropped their record down to 2-19. As for Lake Norman Charter, their win bumped their record up to 7-12.

East Rowan has already played their next game, a 58-45 loss against West Rowan on the 11th. As for Lake Norman Charter, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 67-45 defeat against Hough on the 12th.
