Softball Recap: Whitehall's Run of Three Straight Wins Now Over

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three games, Whitehall finally came back down to earth on Tuesday. They fell 7-2 to the Nazareth Area Blue Eagles. The matchup marked the Zephyrs' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Whitehall saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Morgan Laub, who went 2-for-3 with one triple and two RBI. That triple marked the first that Laub hit this season.

Whitehall moved to 6-2 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Nazareth Area, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Whitehall is set to square off against their familiar foe Northampton at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Nazareth Area will take on rival Pleasant Valley at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday.
