Basketball Recap: Rancho Solano Prep Comes Up Short

Rancho Solano Prep won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Saturday. They lost 43-23 to the Davis Sr. Blue Devils.

Nenah Brown was Rancho Solano Prep's leading scorer, having posted ten points. Alexandra Mushahwar held things down on the boards with 11 rebounds.

Davis Sr. found their leader in freshman Lorelei Nachman, who went 7 of 17 on her way to 17 points and seven steals. With that strong performance, Nachman is now averaging an impressive 15.1 points per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Izzy Cherry, who posted ten points and five steals.

Rancho Solano Prep's loss dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Davis Sr., the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 8-5.

Rancho Solano Prep didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 32-30 victory against Dixon on the 30th. As for Davis Sr., they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 60-15 win against Pioneer on the 30th.
