Volleyball Recap: Westminster Christian Wildcats vs. Lutheran Cougars
It was a proper cat-fight when Westminster Christian took on Lutheran on Wednesday. The Wildcats fell 3-1 to the Cougars. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
The final score came out to 25-8, 25-21, 20-25, 25-16.
Lutheran was led to victory by Dylan Edson and Oliver Bertel. Edson had 12 digs and four assists, while Bertel had eight digs and two assists. That's the most assists Edson has posted since back in May of 2024.
Westminster Christian's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Lutheran, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Westminster Christian will head out to challenge Affton at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Lutheran, they will square off against Howell North at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Knights will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Cougars surely won't give up without a fight.
