Corry got their first taste of in-conference action on Tuesday and they started things off strong. They came out on top against the Northwestern Wildcats by a score of 6-3. The Beavers haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Karson Chamberlin was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Chamberlin was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Chamberlin wasn't the only one making solid contact as six players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Kamdyn Moon, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Corry's victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Northwestern, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-7.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Corry is set to challenge their familiar foe North East at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Northwestern will face off against rival Girard at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
