Hanover had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21.3 points) and they went ahead and made it seven on Friday. They came out on top against the Clifton-Clyde Eagles by a score of 58-48. For the Wildcats, this counts as revenge for the 58-36 win the Eagles walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

Hanover's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Tanner Bruna led the charge by dropping a double-double on 21 points and ten rebounds. Bruna is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Garrett Martin, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 rebounds.

Hanover pushed their record up to 7-3 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.3 points per game. As for Clifton-Clyde, they now have a losing record at 4-5-2.

Hanover wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 70-61 loss against Axtell on the 25th. As for Clifton-Clyde, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 65-51 win against Centralia on the 25th.
