Volleyball Game Preview: Wayne Eagles vs. Monroe Red Jackets

The Wayne Eagles will venture away from home to face off against the Monroe Red Jackets at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Wayne is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Midlakes just ended the team's four-match winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 3-1 to the Screaming Eagles.

Monroe not only won last Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since October 10, 2024 (when they won 3-0). They blew past Young Women's College Prep 3-0. The victory continues a trend for the Red Jackets in their matchups with the Griffins: they've now won four in a row.

Monroe's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Wayne, their loss dropped their record down to 10-6.
