Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Beaver). Everything went their way against the Water Canyon Wildcats on Friday as they made off with a 22-1 victory. The win continues a trend for the Beavers in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won five in a row.

Deegan Blackner made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed two innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (five). He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI.

In other batting news, Raider Blomquist was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two stolen bases, and five RBI. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in March. David Smith also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.

Beaver always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .710. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Beaver's record now sits at 16-3. As for Water Canyon, their defeat was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-12.

Beaver will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Wildcats: the pair will be back at it again later today.
