Soccer Recap: Dayton Has No Trouble Against Yamhill-Carlton

Dayton won the last time they faced Yamhill-Carlton and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Pirates were the clear victors by a 5-1 margin over the Tigers. Given Dayton's advantage in MaxPreps' Oregon soccer rankings (they are ranked 13th, while Yamhill-Carlton are ranked 110th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

The win made it two in a row for Dayton and bumps their season record up to 9-0-1. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those two matchups. As for Yamhill-Carlton, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5-2.
