Preview: St. Agnes vs. Christ's Household of Faith

If the MaxPreps rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for the Christ's Household of Faith Lions. They are staying on the road Monday to face off against the St. Agnes Aggies. Averaging 79.9 points in their past ten games, Christ's Household of Faith's high-powered offense has been in full-swing lately, so St. Agnes better be ready for a challenge.

Everything came up roses for the Lions on the road against Mayer Lutheran this past Thursday as the squad secured an 82-51 win. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Christ's Household of Faith had established an 82-51 advantage. It was another big night for their senior Preston Alleman, who had 19 points and six assists along with six steals.

Meanwhile, the Aggies were expected to have a tough go of it this past Friday, and, well, they did. They have to be aching after a bruising 70-44 defeat to Maranatha Christian Academy.

Christ's Household of Faith's victory lifted them to 18-5 while St. Agnes' loss dropped them down to 8-13. We'll see if the Lions can repeat their recent success or if St. Agnes bounces back and reverse their fortune.
