It's playoff time, and Chattahoochee County had no trouble coming through when it counted. They managed a 65-60 win over the Bowdon Red Devils on Wednesday. This was payback for the Panthers, who suffered a 55-45 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Champ Simpson was his usual excellent self, going 11-for-21 to rack up 30 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Chrisitan Brown, who went 6-for-12 en route to 14 points and five steals.

Despite the loss, Bowdon had strong showings from Kaiden Prothro, who dropped a double-double with 22 points and 21 rebounds, and Timothy Johnson, who dropped a double-double with 19 points and ten boards. Prothro is crushing it when it comes to rebounds: he's pulled down at least nine every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Zayland Allen, who almost dropped a double-double with 12 boards and nine assists.

Chattahoochee County is on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 19 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-9 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.7 points over those games. Bowdon now has a losing record of 13-14.

Chattahoochee County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 65-56 defeat against Hawkinsville on the 22nd. Bowdon does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
