Recap: Pershing County Mustangs vs. Silver Stage Nighthawks
The Pershing County Mustangs came into Tuesday's game having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They took their matchup at home on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 60-25 win over Silver Stage. That's another feather in the cap for Pershing County, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Pershing County to victory, but perhaps none more so than Travis Donaldson, who scored 19 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Donaldson has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Trenton Rhodes, who scored 15 points.
Pershing County's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-15. As for Silver Stage, they dropped their record down to 0-20 with that loss, which was their 18th straight on the road dating back to last season.
Pershing County will face off against Oasis Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Pershing County has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Silver Stage, they will be playing at home against Yerington at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
