Volleyball Recap: Pleasant Hill Takes a Loss

If Pleasant Hill was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Harrisburg on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Billies took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sisters Outlaws on Thursday. Billies fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Outlaws since Thursday.

Pleasant Hill has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-11 record this season. As for Sisters, the win (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 17-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Pleasant Hill will square off against rival La Pine at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Sisters is set to face off against their familiar foe Harrisburg at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
