Basketball Recap: American Heritage Academy Comes Up Short

American Heritage Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 31-15 to the Telesis Prep Tigers. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against American Heritage Academy this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 32-13 back in December of 2024.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Telesis Prep to victory, but perhaps none more so than Sam Krasnopolskiy, who posted 13 points. Karma Daigle was another key player, putting up eight points.

American Heritage Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Telesis Prep, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-4.

American Heritage Academy has already played their next match (against Verde Valley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Telesis Prep will face off against Orme at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Telesis Prep's defense has only allowed 28.4 points per game this season, so Orme's offense will have their work cut out for them.
