Basketball Game Preview: Fairfield Indians vs. Middletown Middies

The Fairfield Indians will face off against the Middletown Middies at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Fairfield is headed into Tuesday's matchup hungry for a win as their strong season has now been derailed by two straight defeats. They fell 46-37 to Oak Hills on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Middletown was able to grind out a solid win over Hamilton last Friday, taking the game 69-57. The Middies haven't had any issues with the Big Blue recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Middletown's win bumped their record up to 12-9. As for Fairfield, their loss dropped their record down to 14-7.

Fairfield didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Middletown when the teams last played back in January, but they still walked away with a 62-58 victory. Will Fairfield repeat their success, or does Middletown have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
