It was a good run, but Ripley unfortunately witnessed the end of their 11-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 51-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Adair Warriors. Ripley was not able to make up for their defeat to Adair from their previous meeting back in January of 2023.
Ripley's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-3. As for Adair, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 10-2.
Ripley and Adair should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Oklahoma Rankings. Ripley will take on Stroud at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday up 243 places (55 vs. 298). Ripley is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road. Similarly, Adair (ranked 73rd) will meet Inola (ranked 240th) at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
