Football Game Preview: Berks Catholic Saints vs. Annville-Cleona Dutchmen

The Berks Catholic Saints will take on the Annville-Cleona Dutchmen at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a six-game winning streak alive.

On Friday, everything came up roses for Berks Catholic against Hamburg as the team secured a 38-7 victory. Considering the Saints have won seven contests by more than 23 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Berks Catholic got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Coy Koller out in front who rushed for 100 yards and two scores on only seven carries. Those two rushing touchdowns gave Koller a new career-high. Jeremiah Camara was another key rusher, rushing for 113 yards and one touchdown.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Berks Catholic was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 386 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 262 rushing yards in eight consecutive games.

Berks Catholic didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Colton Drumheller and Wyatt Burkman.

Meanwhile, Annville-Cleona beat Schuylkill Valley 14-7 on Friday.

Berks Catholic better keep an eye on Devon Englehart. He was instrumental in Annville-Cleona's win, rushing for 134 yards and one TD.

Everything came up roses for Berks Catholic against Annville-Cleona in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 49-14 victory. In that matchup, the Saints amassed a halftime lead of 49-14, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
