Volleyball Recap: Canton Comes Up Short

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Canton and Lennox meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Monday. The C-Hawks came up short against the Orioles, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the C-Hawks have suffered against the Orioles since October 27, 2020.

Canton was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Lennox work for it, especially in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-21, 26-24.

Canton's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Lennox, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

Looking ahead, Canton will square off against Parker at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The C-Hawks are facing the Pheasants at the right time seeing as the Pheasants are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Lennox, they will head out on the road to face off against Madison at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
