West Stanly had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Monroe Redhawks. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Colts also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: West Stanly took every set by at least 12 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-5, 25-10, 25-13.

Their offense was headlined by Payton Watson and Elan Hagerty, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Scarlet Griffin and her nine assists. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

West Stanly's victory bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Monroe, they dropped their record down to 0-8 with the defeat, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, West Stanly will venture away from home to square off against Southwestern Randolph at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Monroe, they will host Anson at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
