It was a Battle of the Birds when Dakota Ridge faced off against Frederick on Friday. The Eagles came out on top against the Golden Eagles by a score of 2-0. The victory was nothing new for the Eagles as they're now sitting on three straight.

Whitney Dewicki paced Dakota Ridge's offense, picking up seven kills. Dewicki got some help from Katherine Weiser and her nine assists. Bayley Distel controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Dakota Ridge's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Frederick, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Dakota Ridge has already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Legacy on the 29th. As for Frederick, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Grand Junction Central on the 29th.
