Basketball Recap: Bethune-Bowman Wins Going Away Against Lowcountry Leadership

On Tuesday, the Bethune-Bowman Mohawks got the win against the Lowcountry Leadership NaviGators by a conclusive 46-23.

Bethune-Bowman can attribute much of their success to Tenia Mack, who posted 17 points. Another player making a difference was Makiyah Johnson, who put up nine points.

Bethune-Bowman is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-11 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 32.7 points. As for Lowcountry Leadership, they are on a 25-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bethune-Bowman will host Palmetto Scholars Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Lowcountry Leadership, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Military Magnet Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Military Magnet Academy will roll in looking for their 11th straight win, something Lowcountry Leadership surely won't give up without a fight.
