Preview: Dixon Bulldogs vs. Southwest Onslow Stallions
The Dixon Bulldogs will be staying on the road on Wednesday to face off against the Southwest Onslow Stallions at 6:00 p.m. on December 27th. Dixon will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 412th, while Southwest Onslow is ranked 178th).
Last Friday, Dixon came up short against Clinton and fell 41-33.
Meanwhile, the stars were shining brightly for Southwest Onslow in a 71-52 win over South Lenoir last Friday. The win made it back-to-back wins for Southwest Onslow.
Dixon has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season. As for Southwest Onslow, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season.
Dixon took a serious blow against Southwest Onslow in their previous matchup last Wednesday, falling 78-35. Can Dixon avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
