Softball Recap: Lincoln-Way Central Knights vs. Coal City Coalers
Lincoln-Way Central strolled into their game on Tuesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They never let the Coal City Coalers get on the board and left with a 13-0 victory.
Not much got past Brooke Seppi, who gave up just five hits and racked up 17 Ks to keep Coal City off the board.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Olivia Rowell, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run and four RBI. Another player making a difference was Sadie Scofield, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
