Veritas Christian lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Plaza Heights Christian Academy, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Tuesday's matchup. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 10-4 margin over the Lions on Tuesday. The victory was just business as usual for the Eagles, who after three games remain undefeated this season.

James Lee made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out ten over 4.2 innings pitched. Lee was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-3.

In other batting news, Austin Alvarez was incredible, scoring five runs while going 4-for-4. Those five runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Shaphan Ming, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double.

Veritas Christian always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .564. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Plaza Heights Christian Academy only posted an OBP of .294.

Veritas Christian's win was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for Plaza Heights Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Veritas Christian will venture away from home to challenge St. Mary's Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Plaza Heights Christian Academy, they will head out to take on Christian Fellowship at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
