St. Joseph Academy entered their tilt with Escondido Adventist Academy on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Hawks by a score of 3-1. For the Crusaders, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 victory the Hawks walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

St. Joseph Academy had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-15, 25-15, 25-15.

Max Pokholok paced St. Joseph Academy's offense, picking up 13 kills. Pokholok got some help from Dominic Gale and his 15 assists. Pokholok was also solid from the service line: he led the team with four aces.
