Football Recap: Four Straight Road Wins for Fernley

Fernley extended their road winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Keeshawn Love. The Vaqueros took their game on Friday with ease, bagging a 47-0 win over the Lowry Buckaroos thanks in part to Love, who rushed for 199 yards and two TDs on only 13 carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 65 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

One reason for the win was Fernley's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for five sacks. Love was especially locked on to Lowry's QB and sacked him three times. Love's rushing production has been exceptional for a while as that marked his 17th straight game with at least 122 rushing yards dating back to last season.

Fernley's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Lowry, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-5.
