Softball Recap: University Comes Up Short

University and Port of Los Angeles squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but University had to settle for second. They lost 11-0 to the Polar Bears. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Wildcats' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

University saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kayla Anzora, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

University's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-8. As for Port of Los Angeles, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season.

As of now, neither University nor Port of Los Angeles have any future games scheduled.
