Menaul has gone 8-2 against Jemez Valley recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Menaul Panthers will face off against the Jemez Valley Warrior at 7:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

On Tuesday, Menaul was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 56-55 to Legacy Academy. While the Panthers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Silverbacks 13-9 in the first quarter.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Jemez Valley). They snuck past Native American Community Academy/Evangel Christian Academy with a 62-57 victory on Tuesday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Warrior as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Menaul's defeat dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Jemez Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 2-16.

Everything came up roses for Menaul against Jemez Valley in their previous meeting back in January, as the squad secured a 69-18 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Menaul since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
