Football Game Preview: Sands Mustangs vs. Motley County Matadors + How To Watch

The Sands Mustangs will head out to challenge the Motley County Matadors at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

On Friday, Sands came up short against Borden County and fell 52-43. The loss continues a trend for the Mustangs in their meetings with the Coyotes: they've now lost five in a row.

Meanwhile, Motley County put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Petersburg, posting a 54-0 win. Given the Matadors' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 13th, while the Buffaloes are ranked 217th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Motley County's victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Sands, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.
