Carver came tearing into Friday's contest with 14 straight wins dating back to last season (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 39.6 points), and they left with even more momentum. They breezed past the Spencer Greenwave to the tune of 48-0. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia football rankings (they are ranked 44th, while the Greenwave are ranked 248th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Carver to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kelston Tarver, who rushed for 120 yards while picking up 7.5 yards per carry. Another signal caller making a difference was Sebastian Heard, who threw for 111 yards and three TDs.

Carver's victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Carver wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 63-0 win against Harris County on the 29th. As for Spencer, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 27-7 defeat against Lovett on the 29th.
