Clinton put their dominant pitchers on display in the team's fifth consecutive shutout on Wednesday. They never let the Fairfield Central Griffins get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Red Devils, who have now won nine games by seven runs or more so far this season.

Clinton's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-4. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.5 runs over those games. As for Fairfield Central, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season.

Fairfield Central is taking a road trip to challenge Keenan at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Clinton will be paying especially close attention to the Griffins' contest: after the Griffins faces off against the Raiders, they'll take on Clinton again at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
