Basketball Recap: Plainview Comes Up Short

Plainview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 46-40 heartbreaker at the hands of the Coronado Mustangs. The Bulldogs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Mustangs earlier this season, when they won 62-49.

Plainview's loss dropped their record down to 13-12. As for Coronado, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-17.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Caprock the next time they take the court. Coronado will host Caprock at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Plainview will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on January 31st.
