Softball Recap: Idalou Comes Up Short

Idalou was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took an 11-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sudan Hornets.

Idalou's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Sudan, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-0-1.

Coming up, Idalou will face off against Canadian at 11:15 a.m. on Friday. Idalou's pitchers better be ready for this one: Canadian has averaged an impressive 13.5 runs per game this season. As for Sudan, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 11-10 victory against Roosevelt on the 19th.
