Football Recap: Yulee Takes a Loss

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Yulee couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They took an 18-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Stanton Blue Devils on Wednesday. The Hornets have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second defeat in a row.

Yulee's loss dropped their record down to 12-5. As for Stanton, their victory bumped their record up to 10-6.

Yulee does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Stanton, they will take on Choctawhatchee at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Indians' defense has only allowed 8.8 points per game this season, so the Blue Devils' offense will have their work cut out for them.
