Oceanside Collegiate Academy came tearing into Friday's contest with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 28.2 points), and they left with even more momentum. Their defense stepped up to hand the Battery Creek Dolphins a 45-0 shutout. Considering the Landsharks have won five matchups by more than 19 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Oceanside Collegiate Academy's record is now 7-2. As for Battery Creek, their loss was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-6.

Coincidentally, Oceanside Collegiate Academy and Battery Creek will both be playing Orangeburg-Wilkinson the next time they take the field. The Dolphins will host the Bruins at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Landsharks will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on the 31st.
