Manchester Academy came tearing into Thursday's match with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Carroll Academy Rebels by a score of 8-4. The Mavericks have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Rebels, too.

Jon Parker Dees was excellent, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3. What's more, he posted two doubles, the most he's had since back in March of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Joseph Beidleman, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-2.

Manchester Academy pushed their record up to 10-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Carroll Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Manchester Academy didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 7-3 loss against Park Place Christian Academy on the 7th. As for Carroll Academy, they will challenge Manchester Academy at 11:00 a.m. on Monday.
