Volleyball Game Preview: Centennial Cougars vs. Rogers Royals

The Centennial Cougars will face off against the Rogers Royals at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Centennial is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out East Ridge 3-2.

Meanwhile, Rogers made easy work of Sartell-St. Stephen on Thursday and carried off a 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Royals in their matchups with the Sabres: they've now won five in a row.

Rogers' victory bumped their record up to 26-8. As for Centennial, their win bumped their record up to 23-9.

Centennial came up short against Rogers in their previous meeting back in September, falling 3-1. Can the Cougars avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
