Baseball Recap: Atlantic's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Friday

It was a good run, but Atlantic unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of the University Titans by a score of 5-4. If the Sharks were looking for revenge after losing 10-1 to the Titans when the teams met back in April of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Jake Cronin was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing Two bases. while going 3-for-3. Those three hits gave him a new career-high.

Atlantic's defeat dropped their record down to 10-2. As for University, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-5-2 record.

Looking ahead, Atlantic will face off against Varsity Opponent at 1:15 p.m. on Saturday. As for University, they will be taking part in a tournament against Seminole at 10:00 a.m. on Monday. University is facing Seminole at the right time seeing as Seminole is stuck on a ten-game losing streak.
