After a string of three wins, Bartlett's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 48-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Meridian Yellowjackets.

Leading Meridian to victory were Josh Nunez and Guillermo Ortiz. Nunez dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten boards, while Ortiz posted eight points and five steals. Ortiz is crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season.

Bartlett's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Meridian, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-1.

Bartlett didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 48-30 defeat against Covington on the 14th. As for Meridian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 63-20 victory against Gholson on the 17th.
