NorthWood waltzed into their match on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. Everything went their way against the Jimtown Jimmies as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Panthers also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: NorthWood took every set by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-13, 25-13.

Ella Branham paced NorthWood's offense, picking up 13 kills. Branham got some help from Emily Uhlmann and her 34 assists. Finally, Krystal Hershberger kept NorthWood's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

NorthWood now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Jimtown, they dropped their record down to 3-4 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Looking ahead, NorthWood will face off against Elkhart Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Jimtown, they are taking a road trip to take on Elkhart at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
