Soccer Game Preview: Sedro-Woolley vs. Blaine

The Sedro-Woolley Cubs are taking a road trip to challenge the Blaine Borderites at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Sedro-Woolley is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Lynden just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Saturday. They and the Lions finished up their contest with a 3-3 draw. The result (or lack thereof) marked Sedro-Woolley's first draw of the season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Blaine). They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Nooksack Valley on Saturday. The victory continues a trend for Blaine in their matchups with Nooksack Valley: they've now won six in a row.

Sedro-Woolley's draw makes their record 4-2-1 this season. As for Blaine, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.
