Basketball Recap: Syracuse's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

Syracuse was the 43-41 winner over Bingham when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Titans fell 49-45 to the Miners on Tuesday. The loss put an end to the Titans' undefeated start to the season.

Bingham found their leader in sophomore Lanie Smith, who went 5-for-9 to rack up 17 points. Smith also set a new season-high mark in three-point shooting accuracy with 57%. Evalyn Roberts was another key player, putting up eight points.

Having lost for the first time this season, Syracuse fell to 2-1. As for Bingham, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Looking ahead, Syracuse will square off against Preston at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bingham, they will welcome Layton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
