Soccer Game Preview: Prospect vs. Elk Grove

The Prospect Knights will head out to take on the Elk Grove Grenadiers at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Prospect's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over Rolling Meadows. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Prospect.

Isabella Kowal and Courtney Bradbury scored both of Prospect's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 11 goals.

Meanwhile, Wheeling kept up with Elk Grove until halftime on Friday, but afterwards: not so much. The Grenadiers put the hurt on the Wildcats with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for Elk Grove in their matchups with Wheeling: they've now won nine in a row.

The victory got Elk Grove back to even at 8-8-1. As for Prospect, their record is now 7-5-1.
