Football Recap: Palmetto Mustangs vs. Belton-Honea Path Bears
It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Palmetto can now relate to. They took a blow against the Belton-Honea Path Bears on Friday, falling 56-7. Having soared to a lofty 31 points in the game before, the Mustangs couldn't push the score so high this time.

Belton-Honea Path was led to victory by Noah Thomas and Mj Earl. Thomas threw for 134 yards and four touchdowns while completing 81.8% of his passes, while Earl rushed for 107 yards and a pair of scores on only seven carries. Thomas has been hot recently, having posted four or more passing touchdowns the last three times he's played. Belton-Honea Path also got help from Tajeh Watson-Martin, who showed off his sure hands for 82 receiving yards.
