Baseball Recap: Okeechobee Takes a Loss

After flying high against Clewiston last Tuesday, Okeechobee came back down to earth. The Brahmans lost 14-4 to the True North Classical Academy Titans on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Brahmans have suffered since March 4th.

Ruben Gurrero made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Okeechobee now has a losing record of 8-9. As for True North Classical Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.

Okeechobee didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 4-0 defeat against Vero Beach on the 1st. As for True North Classical Academy, they have also already played their next contest, a 5-3 loss against Chaminade-Madonna on the 1st.
