The Odyssey Charter School Titans scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Master's Academy as Odyssey Charter School made off with a 49-27 win. That 49-27 margin sets a new team best for Odyssey Charter School this season.

Odyssey Charter School was led to victory by Natalia DeJesus-Bruno and Talyssa Hilaire. DeJesus-Bruno scored nine points along with seven steals, while Hilaire scored eight points along with 12 rebounds and five steals. Those seven steals set a new season-high mark for her. Another player making a difference was Melissa Mayfield, who scored six points along with ten rebounds and four steals.

Odyssey Charter School's win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-6. As for Master's Academy, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Odyssey Charter School will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Pine at 10:00 a.m. on January 5, 2024. As for Master's Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Lincoln Park Academy at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday. The timing is sure in Lincoln Park Academy's favor as the squad sits on four straight wins at home while Master's Academy has been banged up by 13 consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.
